Have you ever considered it?

I’d love to walk this Young Living Journey with you! Are you ready? Let’s do this!

Do you know about the Young Living opportunity? Have you ever considered it?

When I started my journey with Young Living 3 years ago, I swore up and down that I wanted nothing to do with the business. Yes, I love the oils and the products and how they have changed my life. But, to actually work the business, nope!

Of course that changed! lol Once you start seeing how these oils work, as well as the other amazing products, you can’t help but share about it. And when, out of the blue, someone bought a kit from me, well, I was surprised that I had earned an accidental paycheck. But, I was also intrigued.

So, I very slowly started to look into it. The business, that is. I did not go all in, and the status of my business showed that. I put it aside for a while. Kept using all the products, just put the business on hold.

Then, after receiving a very clear sign from above that I should be pursuing the Young Living opportunity, I jumped back in. I am building relationships and planting seeds and making this work.

Are you curious about the opportunity Young Living offers? Take a look at this video:

We survived a public outing!

So, as you know, Zeus is still in training. He is doing so great, we are so proud of him! We still work with Zeke at home, but he is done, for now, with the trainers.

Zeus went for another day train on Friday. A shorter one this time, but he went on a field trip. He went to a local store with the trainer. He did so great there, walking right with Ryan (the trainer) and not barking or pulling on the leash. Ryan showed us video of him at this store.

When they were done at the first store, they headed to our local Lowes store, where we would meet them. After Ryan and Zeus had been in the store for about 5 minutes, Adam and I headed in. Our job was to just watch, at first, without letting Zeus see/hear us. This was so that we could see how he was doing. We covertly followed them throughout the store. At one point, Ryan called my phone to tell me that he was sure Zeus had either heard our voices or caught my scent because he started getting worked up. So Adam and I worked harder at staying out of sight.

Eventually, Ryan called and said we could approach them. As soon as Zeus saw us, he started getting worked up. Once he was settled again, it was our turn to walk Zeus through the store. This had made me very anxious, but I had applied my Valor essential oil before I left the house, and by the time it was my turn to take the leash, I was feeling pretty calm.

It really was not so bad walking him through the store. He behaved so well, walking right next me, sitting when I asked him to. The people didn’t seem to bother him too much. At one point, we encountered a couple who had their dog with them. Zeus handled it like a pro, eyeing up the dog, but not reacting. When we walked past the service counter, the lady working behind the counter offered Zeus a treat. Adam took a turn walking him around the store, and Zeus continued to amaze us!

All in all, this was a great experience! I’m not sure that Zeke could handle it, at least not as well as Zeus did.

Zeus had group class again yesterday, and just like his field trip the day before, it went very well. He has one group class left, but we may look into continuing. It’s so good for them!

Our stubborn little Zeus, who is not so little anymore, is growing up and learning how to behave.

My Gateway Oil

I am the first to admit that I was a skeptic! I did not know a thing about essential oils. I was sure they didn’t do anything beyond smell nice. And the idea that they could support my body systems in any way was, well, I thought that was ridiculous.  🙄 So when someone I love invited me to an oil party, I decided to go. I wasn’t going to buy anything, I knew oils weren’t for me. But, I would go and support my family member at this party.

At this party, the oils in the starter kit were passed around so we could smell them, one at a time. While they were passed around, the oily educator talked about each oil, and ways to use it. I have to tell you, I was amazed that they could be used for so many things!  When the peppermint oil was passed to me, I put the bottle to my nose to smell it, and, oh my, it was like my senses had been asleep and suddenly came alive! Like a little burst of energy, is the best way to describe how that sniff of peppermint made me feel. I was intrigued! I listened to the rest of the presentation, asked some questions, smelled the oils again. And, do you know, I bought my starter kit that day! 😊

Once my kit arrived, I was determined to use them. I got added to some oily fb groups, where I could ask questions and get tips, tricks and advice. There are literally hundreds of uses for these oils. Like, peppermint oil on those days you feel like someone is hammering your head. Or lavender in the diffuser to support restful sleep. Or thieves on my feet and/or in the diffuser to support my immune system. Or panaway on my muscles after a tough workout.💪 Or digize on my tummy when I’ve eaten too much Mexican food. 🌮 I use oils every single day! The skeptic became a believer, and now I support my body systems every day with essential oils!

I also began to fall in love with other products from Young Living. They have amazing skin care products, oral care products like toothpaste and floss, vitamins, supplements, food products, baby products and even makeup! All toxin-free! I can’t share with you here every product I use because this post would never end. But, I can share a few of my favorites: Orange Blossom Face Wash is great, makes my face feel amazing, and, since you only need a very small amount, it lasts a long time. Sheerlume Brightening Cream. I can confidently leave the house with no makeup if I want to when I use this. I slather my body with Lavender Hand and Body Lotion every night before bed. I love the Seedlings Baby Wipes as makeup removers and have used them as dryer sheets. And have I mentioned that I love the Einkorn Granola?? And Ningxia Red? Oh my, I don’t go a day without Ningxia, especially this time of year!

Do I know everything there is to know about Young Living and all their products? Of course not! But I’m learning as I go. I would love to help you learn! Do you have questions about Young Living? Or about essential oils? Message me and I’ll share with you what I know.

I love Young Living, their promise of quality with their Seed to Seal program, and, of course, their oils and products!

Oh Zeus!

Zeus! Our 9 month old German Shepherd. He’s a handful, stubborn and strong willed.

Zeus had another private consultation with the trainer about 2 weeks ago. We were given more good tips about specific things we could be doing with him. Adam and I started implementing these new tips every day. Zeus really stepped up, and he started to answer commands more quickly.

Last week, he had another day train session. He spent the day with the trainer and, Ryan, the trainer, could see progress!! Hooray!! He suggested we bring him back to group class on the weekend. Adam and I were both apprehensive about Zeus and group class. The first group class Zeus went to did not go so well. We had to stay off to the side of the group with him. So, the idea of group class was not inviting, lol.

Group class is on Saturday mornings. We arrived, and got Zeus out of the car. Of course, he started barking immediately at other people/dogs in the parking lot, but we were able to control him. Group class went so well!! Zeus did everything he was supposed to do, and we had no trouble controlling him or getting him to listen to commands. This is huge! A huge step in the right direction!

He goes back in a few days for another day train session. This time, they will take him out in public. That should be interesting! And then, Saturday will be another group session. He has two more group classes that are paid for. I would kind of like to keep going to the group classes after our paid ones are done. And I’d like both Zeus and Zeke to go. I think it would be great for both of them to continue. But, we’ll see how much that costs.

For now, we are happy with how Zeus is finally making progress. Zeke has needed some work as well, as we have been lax with him, always considering him the “good” one, lol. But, after such intense work with Zeus, it became clear we needed to reinforce commands with Zeke as well. So, we’ve stepped up efforts with Zeke, and he’s doing well.

Now, if only we could do something about all that German Shepherd hair all over the house!!

Feel the love!

Young Living is making some changes to the Premium Starter Kit. Change is good, and these changes are really good!

The first change is replacing the sample oil sachets that come in the kit. These will be replaced with a 1 oz. sample of Thieves Household Cleaner. This is amazing!! Thieves Household Cleaner is what I use to clean my whole house. I love this change to the kit!

The next change is a switch of two oils in the kit. Purification and RC will no longer be in the premium starter kits. They will be replaced with Citrus Fresh and Raven, two great oils. You can still purchase Purification and RC separately, but they will no longer be in the kit.

Pretty good stuff, huh? Message me at simpsonjannita@gmail.com if you would like more info about these changes or you have questions.
