It’s June now. The month that summer arrives on the calendar. We are finally starting to have warmer days around here. And, still, lots of rain!
A new month brings a new workout calendar. If you follow me, you know I am a member of GHUTV, a subscription workout site. I love the variety of workouts here, and they are always adding new content. And, Chris Freytag and the other trainers are amazing! I am also a part of the GHUTV Squad, a private fb group full of support and motivation. I have lots of friends there that I have never met in person, but feel like I really know them anyway!
The calendar I am following this month is a new one. It’s the Walk, Sweat and Sculpt calendar. It’s full of walking workouts, walk and tone workouts, as well as some yoga. It’s a good mix of cardio and strength. I am enjoying it so far. Some of these workouts are short, 20 or 30 minutes, so I frequently add on something else to get a longer sweat.
I find that following a calendar helps me to do workouts I might not otherwise choose. Consistency is key, but also continuing to challenge myself is also important.
